The Challenge:
The non-profit organization hosted over 50 events every year, and each event had its own unique needs. Each event was hosted by different volunteer groups sponsored by the client. This made collecting event needs and requirements difficult for the client.
My Role & Solution:
I provided strategy, coordination, and project management support for the organization. Together with input from the organization’s staff, I created a single comprehensive form for the different volunteer groups to use, ensuring the staff could capture the information they needed to effectively execute the events in partnership with the volunteer groups. This form communicated with each of the departments needed to support the event. It also provided staff with a single point of contact for each event, streamlining communication and reducing confusion.
The Impact:
Once the form was launched, the organization reduced confusion and frustration for both staff and volunteer leaders. This allowed the staff and volunteers to operate and execute their events with excellence.

A newly formed company needed to define who they wanted to be in addition to their brand identity.
My Role & Solution:
I coached this company through a process to help them generate a mission, vision, and values statement. I was also brought in to help create a branding guide, complete with a logo and color palette. In addition to individual coaching sessions with company members. I used the information collected to generate a mission, vision, and values statement. The mission, vision, and value statements guided the development of the color palette and typography. From these individual interviews, I designed logo options for the company to choose from.
The Impact:
I provided the company with a complete branding guide featuring their mission, vision, and values statements, logo and logo guidelines, color palette and usage guides, mood boards, and typography guides.

The Challenge:
The newly installed president of a nonprofit organization wanted to update the organization's logo while maintaining the previous one.
My Role & Solution:
In my role as logo designer, I found creative ways to update the logo while preserving its integrity. These ways included brightening colors and adding elements to frame the logo.
The Impact:
I created a logo that preserves the original while updating the design to reflect the new administration's goals for the organization.

Website Redesign
Creative Direction & Brand Experience Design
The Challenge:
An established cultural museum was moving toward a future-forward organization, looking to update its public profile, but its website didn't fully reflect its future goals. While wanting to move forward with a new design, the organization had to maintain relationships with its current fundraising platforms.
My Role & Solution:
I worked with the organization's President and CEO to gather his goals for the website and understand what he wanted it to reflect. Based on this information, I created a mock-up that translated the president's goals while preserving the information and fundraising platforms from the current website. I'm also tracking metrics and SEO to analyze the website and make edits as needed to increase awareness of the museum and drive new visitors.
The Impact:
The organization launched its new website in time for the President and CEO to appear on multiple national and internationally recognized podcasts and newscasts.

Political Collateral Design

The Challenge:
A political PAC supporting a candidate running for a local school board position needed political materials to distribute during the campaign.
My Role:
I was responsible for creating campaign flyers and trifold brochures.

My Solution:
I conducted research on color psychology to help develop a color palette that best reflected the values the candidate wanted to project. I incorporated the color palette into multiple flyers and brochure designs for the candidate's team to print locally and distribute during various political events and on social media.

The Impact:
While the candidate didn't win the election. The campaign had clean, polished political materials to distribute and get the word out about their candidate.

Social Media Strategy for Lifestyle Influencer
Content Strategy & Digital Ecosystems
The Challenge:
The client wanted to differentiate their content to more accurately reflect who they are as a well-rounded and dynamic person. They also wanted to adjust their profiles to help gain additional brand deals.
My Role & Solution:
I was responsible for auditing clients' current social media profiles and engagement metrics and developing a strategy for the client. After conducting a detailed audit of the clients' public profiles and the engagement data. I created a content strategy that included defining her brand and brand pillars. The strategy also included a 30-day content strategy for each platform. The strategy guide is also designed to support her as someone who also works a demanding full-time job at a global institution.​

The Impact:
She has been able to methodically adjust her posts and schedule to incorporate the new content strategy, secure additional brand deals, and relieve some stress around creating content.
